Restoration Hardware Rooftop NYC Girls Brunch
Located on top of Restoration Hardware, RH Rooftop is one breathtaking rooftop restaurant that will for sure impress anyone with its glamorous decor.
Adorned with chandeliers and marbled tabletops, this American fare restaurant “ blurs the lines between residential and retail, indoors and outdoors, home and hospitality.” This rooftop is not only gorgeous on the inside but also has a beautiful landscaped park and terrace with “iconic” views of downtown Manhattan.
This RH rooftop location oozes exclusivity and is nestled in the chic Meatpacking District along with Soho House and Gansevoort. The rooftop location is accessed through the store lobby by a glass elevator. As you ascend each level you will find three floors filled with their beautiful trademark furniture pieces for your home.
When you reach the rooftop, where the restaurant is, the elevator doors will open to a bright and fresh open space. The first thing that will catch your attention is a giant chandelier followed by many, many more placed so eloquently around the restaurant.
The host staff are especially friendly and welcoming and since we had a reservation they were able to get us seated immediately at a table. The restaurant itself opens at 10 a.m. however; because it is such a popular venue reservations are required. Although, having an hour or so to kill at RH wouldn’t be hard. You can wander the different floor and room exhibits, playing house—A brunch n’ browse of sorts
When it does come time to sit at a table, the open atmosphere and comfy seating make one feel at home, instantly. Tables don’t seem cramped close to each other, like at some places who just try to get as many people seated as they can. While it may be busy, it’s not too loud and boisterous nor overwhelming. The water fountains that protrude from the seating banquets help with that.
After our meals we ventured out onto their terrace. This really is something special. It has striking views of the One World Trade Center nearby. If you peer over the edge you can see yellow taxis and pedestrians wandering along the cobbled streets of the Meatpacking District and the West Village. At first I thought that was the extent of the terrace until we, ourselves, wandered some more only to find that the terrace is huge! It wraps around to expose a whole other side facing north towards Apple, Google and the Gansevoort Market. There’s an abundance of outdoor seating for you to lounge on and enjoy the sun on a beautiful day.
Restoration Hardware Rooftop will accept reservations for guests Sunday to Saturday from 10 am until 9 pm with the no guests being seated after 9 pm. Please keep in mind when making your reservations that all of your party will need to arrive before you can be seated.
RH Rooftop at Restoration Hardware is the best restaurant I have dined at in a long time. It truly was an experience that did not disappoint. RH Rooftop Restaurant is also an every occasion restaurant which makes it even better. A meeting. friends lunch or a date night can be had here.
Just because I know the girls always. need to know the details about the ladies room. We discovered that there was a line at the ladies room on the 6th floor, where the rooftop restaurant is located. But, have no fear you can easily just go down a floor or two (or three, depending on how busy it is) and use one of those restrooms instead. On a brighter note, I was pleasantly surprised with how clean they keep the restrooms, considering how much foot traffic goes through the space. Listen even the restrooms are stunningly gorgeous.
