Our Pumpkin Patch Family Tradition
“October” means its’ time to pick out a pumpkin. Since recently moved to our new home, we are still figuring out where things are on this side of the Sunshine Skyway bridge.
We also had to keep in consideration “social distancing” and where we can enjoy ourselves with masks on in this Florida sunshine. The last quarter of the year contains my favorite season and holidays. Today, was a “gourd-geous day” to visit the pumpkin patch @kerbynursery. Kerby Nursery is located at 2311 S. Parsons Avenue, Seffner, Florida.
Fall hours are Monday through Saturday 9 AM to 5:30 PM and Sunday 11 AM to 4 PM. If you want something unique, the Pumpkin house is the perfect place to capture some fun family photos. This family owned nursery had some of the most amazing pumpkins. There were so many different varieties, colors, and shapes.
Unfortunately, due to hubby’a work schedule he was unable to join us. But,we recently discussed continuing to create memories as a family despite COVID and his work schedule. So, today Kourtney and I went on a Mommy and daughter date to the pumpkin patch. Using GPS, the location was easy to find and the parking was ample. You are greeted once you enter the wooden fence and the staff is readily available to assist you.
Since, Daddy wasn’t able to join us during the day; we closed out the night baking fall cookies as a family. My heart is truly full as we created so many amazing memories today. I hope you enjoy accompanying us on our new fall family tradition. This will definitely be an annual event for our family. Yes, we realize that our cookies are not Pinterest worthy but… as Kourtney said, “Today was the best day ever Daddy and Mommy.” and “these cookies are so… delicious”!
